Separate accommodations for Girls & Boys is available. Each inmate is provided with one table, one chair & one cupboard.
Mess -
The mess shall provide the students with a nutritious and well balanced diet while undergoing the rigorous schedule of studies. Great care is taken for cleanliness while preparing food.
Computer Lab
The computer lab is equipped with high-end personal computers and 512 Kbps
high-speed internet connection. The complete lab has an on-line UPS available.
Wi-Fi Campus
The institute establishes global connectivity through leased line that provides
internet access to the students to keep pace with the latest developments in the corporate world.
Library
Hard copies/Books on various subjects, Periodicals & Magazines and Educational
Journals/Magazines are available for references at our Library.
Proposed Activities
Guest Lecture A regular feature of SIMT will be to invite eminent personalities from the academia and industry to deliver lectures. A student committee will be formed to plan and organize these guest lectures.
Seminars
A very important activity that helps interconnect academics with the corporate world.
This enormously enhances their intellect and knowledge, harnesses their skills and develops their potentials.
Co-curricular Activities
At SIMT the overall development of the students is encouraged
through activities like class presentation, roleplays, debates, business quiz, seminars etc
Field Visit & Project Work
SIMT believes in giving the students practical inputs along with
theoretical concept given in the classroom. Each student has to compulsorily undergo a field visit to an organisation.
Social Awareness
Students are required to be exposed to the needs of social responsibilities of
the corporate world. For the same reason the students at SIMT are made to organize campaigns like Blood Donation Camps, Tree Plantation, Eyecheck up camp, etc.
Cultural Event
At SIMT, along with
comprehensive academic inputs an equal emphasis is given to the all round development. This is achieved by encouraging the students to organize and participate in various cultural events.
